CLEVELAND, OH, January 15, 2005 – Merrymeeting®, Inc. (MMI) CEO, John Davies, today announced that the company will sponsor a cross-country bike tour beginning in San Diego, CA and ending in St. Augustine, FL during October, 2005, to raise a goal of $100,000 for the American Heart Association (AHA).  Davies, who is an AHA board member, and Milo Bolender, Vice President, will be riding in the tour.

“We are really looking forward to this event,” stated Mr. Davies.  “It is a wonderful opportunity to support a worthy cause and have some fun amongst our co-workers.  Many MMI employees are volunteering their time to plan, coordinate and execute the tour.”

The goal is to arrive in FL right before the start of the Frontier Adjusters® and ProSpection® annual franchisee conventions, running from October 16th to the 18th at the Grosvenor Resort in Orlando, FL.  Frontier and ProSpection are two of MMI’s franchised subsidiaries.

“We’re also working on a plan to get our franchisees involved as we pass through their cities on the tour,” stated Bolender, who oversees sales and marketing for Frontier.  “We’ll all be working as a team to make this event as successful as possible for the AHA.”
