Inner Circle Will Open New Locations in South Carolina Print E-mail

CLEVELAND, OH, August 11, 2008 – Inner Circle® International (ICI), a rapidly growing peer advisory franchise, is pleased to announce that new Inner Circle offices will be opening in Charleston, Myrtle Beach, Florence and Hilton Head, South Carolina. Ed Pendarvis, Al Katz and Colonel W. Earl Walker, Ph.D., will be leading the ICI expansion in these areas.

“I am very excited about the opportunity to develop business coaching in South Carolina with Inner Circle’s peer advisory format,” stated Ed Pendarvis, founder of the Sunbelt franchise, the world’s largest business brokerage firm. “There is a close personal relationship between business coaching, business improvement, business growth and business brokerage.”

Ed Pendarvis is a graduate of The Citadel and remains active with his alma mater by serving as a member of the School of Business Administration Advisory Board. After serving in the U.S. Army Artillery, Ed has experienced decades of success in the sales and business environment. Since founding Sunbelt in 1978, Ed has participated in or managed the sale of more than 1,000 businesses, as well as providing training to countless business brokers.

Greenville native Al Katz joins Inner Circle as an experienced personal and business coach. He has coached hundreds of businesses and organizations throughout the country, specializing in closely-held businesses and family-owned organizations. Al is an honors graduate of The Citadel, where he remains active through teaching undergraduate and graduate courses and serving as Chair of Innovative Marketing in the School of Business Administration.

Earl Walker brings experience as a corporate and military leader to Inner Circle. He began his military career as a distinguished graduate of West Point and went on to serve as a line Army officer, retiring as a Colonel after 26 years of service. Earl has also served as Professor and Dean of various universities and colleges, most recently retiring as the Founding Dean of The Citadel School of Business Administration in 2007. Earl earned his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and Political Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
