WALDORF, MD, October 29, 2007 – In honor of Veteran’s Day on November 12^th, MTO Cleaning Services of Charles County (MTOclean) is offering 10% off of all services to local veterans and military personnel. MTOclean is also extending a Gift Certificate Program for these individuals, offering a $50 gift certificate for just $25. The MTOClean Veteran Discount Program will run the entire month of November and gift certificates will remain valid for one year.

Veteran’s Day became a national holiday in 1938 originating as “Armistice Day” on the first anniversary of the end of World War I. In 1954, President Dwight D. Eisenhower changed the name to Veteran’s Day, to honor those who served in all American wars. In 2006, there were an estimated 23.7 million Veterans living in the United States with over 1.4 million military personnel currently on active duty.
